Van Tyres

Find the right tyres for your commercial vehicle. Van Tyres are designed to carry more weight, in particular they have more plies (8 or more) in the carcass.
Choose the right tyres for your vehicle checking the vehicle's manual, you'll find the size of the tyres (example 195/75 R16 107/105R). Of course be sure to know which wheels size your vehicle is (e.g: R15, R16, R17, etc.), just check it out on tyres that are currently in use.
The tread width is expressed in millimeters (e.g 195). The second number represents the height of the shoulder in relation to the width of the tyres (e.g. 75). The third number is the rim radius (in inches) for which the tyre is designed (e.g. R16).
The load index (e.g. 107) indicates which load can withstand that particular tyre: for safe travel, you can choose a load index equal to or less than the prescribed one. It must never be lower than it.
The speed code (e.g. R) indicates the maximum speed for which the tyre is designed: as for the load index.
